Fête de la Musique – Georgetown Edition

Born in France in 1982, Fête de la Musique has grown into a global celebration of music, creativity, and community. Every year on June 21st, cities around the world come alive as musicians—amateurs and professionals alike—take to the streets, sharing their passion with audiences in free, open-air concerts.

Now, Georgetown is part of this tradition! We’re curating an exciting lineup of talented artists who blend the vibrant rhythms of Guyana, the Caribbean, and France. From soulful voices to electrifying beats, this is a stage for everyone—whether you’re an emerging performer or a seasoned musician. And true to tradition, the evening is headlined by a French-speaking artist.
